As we journey through the liturgical life of the Church, the month of June offers us a rich tapestry of solemnities that call us to deepen our understanding of God’s love and presence. This month, we celebrate three profound feasts that are central to our faith and identity as a Catholic community.

June 14: Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity & Father’s Day Mass

On June 14, we honor the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity—a mystery that lies at the heart of our faith. We believe in one God in three divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This solemnity invites us to marvel at the unity and love within the Trinity and challenges us to reflect that same love in our own relationships.

In joyful coincidence, this day also marks our special Mass for Father’s Day. We give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our lives. Just as God the Father is a protector, provider, and guide, so too do our earthly fathers reflect His love and strength. May this celebration be a reminder of the vocation of fatherhood and a prayer for all men called to this sacred role.

June 21: Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Also known as Corpus Christi, this feast on June 21 honors the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. We celebrate the mystery of Christ giving Himself to us—body, blood, soul, and divinity—under the appearance of bread and wine.

This solemnity reminds us of the central place of the Eucharist in our lives as Catholics. Each Mass is an opportunity to encounter the living Christ and to be nourished by His sacrificial love. Let us approach the altar with reverence and gratitude, allowing the grace of the Eucharist to transform our hearts and renew our commitment to live as disciples of Christ.

June 28: Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus – Patron of SHTCG

On June 28, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the patron of our parish community. The image of the Sacred Heart is a profound symbol of Christ’s infinite love for humanity—a love that is compassionate, merciful, and ever-forgiving.

As we honor our patron, we are reminded of our mission to live in that same spirit of love and mercy. This day is not only a celebration of who Jesus is but also a call to embody His heart in our service, worship, and relationships. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to bless our parish and guide us in all that we do.

A Time of Grace and Gratitude

June is truly a month of spiritual depth and celebration. As we reflect on the mysteries of the Trinity, the Eucharist, and the Sacred Heart, let us open ourselves to God's grace and recommit to living out our faith with love and joy.

May these solemnities inspire us to grow in holiness, community, and service. Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in You!
